About the Role

We are building a Culturally Sustaining Pedagogy (CSP) database. We need local science teachers or physics students to help translate standard physics concepts into local realities — e.g., thermodynamics of traditional farming, acoustic mechanics of the Sasando, kinematics of traditional fishing — to feed our locally-deployed AI models.

Qualifications & Preferences

  • Active or retired science teacher in NTT, or physics/science education student
  • Deep knowledge of local cultural artifacts, practices, and environmental contexts
  • Ability to articulate scientific concepts in accessible, culturally grounded language
  • Interest in contributing to an open-source indigenous knowledge database
